Efficient inventory control and warehouse capacity are the backbone of an industrial empire. Through your Storage portal, you manage warehouse CBM capacity, environmental waste permits, and inventory stocks.
1. Warehouse Storage & CBM Capacity
Every product, raw material, and byproduct in Businessgame occupies volume measured in Cubic Meters (CBM):
- Total Storage Capacity: Your total available warehouse volume is determined by your built storage units (100 CBM per unit).
- Storage Upkeep Costs: Warehouse units incur hourly maintenance costs. Upgrading your Logistics Director in your Corporate HQ lowers warehouse upkeep by 5% per level (up to 50% discount).
- Warehouse Overstocking Hard Stop: If your stored inventory reaches 100% capacity, all manufacturing facilities will immediately pause production until storage volume is freed by selling goods or expanding storage.
2. Logistics Optimization Boost
Players can activate the Logistics Optimization perk on the Coins Page:
- 100% Upkeep Waiver: While active, your hourly warehouse storage maintenance fees are waived entirely (€0.00 upkeep).
- Instant Settlement: All purchases and sales on the market settle instantly with immediate warehouse deposit and withdrawal.
