List of possible features in the next version

I have made a list of features I might going to implement in the next version of this game I am working on. I am going to think this through and design a plan of how the system will work precisly.

Most of these ideas have been discussed earlier in these forums and suggested by players themselves. With the new version coming, I finaly have a chance of rethinking the system in a way that allows me to implement these features.

These are the suggestions I have selected and have been thinking about:

  • Levels in companies (need some ideas for level names and maybe extra options that a level unlocks?
  • Time delay to repair broken down units
  • Deposit money on bank (0.05% interest each turn)
  • Transport : Trucks vs Train (cheaper) (might also take some time delay to transport goods)
  • Warehouses affect the market when build, so do units (need bricks made from gravel and such)
  • Time delay to build units, warehouses or docking station, also need time to upgrade.
  • Land? Don't really have an idea about it yet, so it is very improbable that it is going to be added
  • Trading between players (but only trading with players who have the same company level to avoid being dominated by top players when trying to sell your goods).
  • Contracts with other players (for multiple transactions over x time)
  • Calculate your market share in tranactions
  • The interests (not the paybacks) of a loan are an expense, so they will be substracted from your taxes
  • Receive mail when sector breaks down
  • Quality of goods? (maybe to hard to implement in the gameplay, would make the game too complex)
  • Random dilemma's? (a popup with some kind of situation you have to solve, but don't have a lot of ideas, someone has some ideas for good dilemma's?)
  • Governemnt (already in place but with the new features added it will need a huge intelligence boost)
  • The time delays are actually not going to be real time delays. These time delays actually represent timePoints, which you will receive each turn. This way you can "save" time and use it whenever you wan't. This way businessgame.be might become a game you can play longer than five minutes a day.

These are just the ideas I am going to think about, a more precise list will be published soon.
